Wrinklies Series – Week 7 Results (16 June 2025)

The fleet returned to the water on Monday for Week 7 of the Cockle Island Boat Club Wrinklies Series, with four boats taking part in a lively afternoon race.

Conditions were fair, and the race committee set a straightforward course which provided just enough challenge to keep crews on their toes. The results were close, with corrected times bringing some interesting shuffles in the leader board:

• 🥇 MerryJack  sailed consistently and took 1st place on corrected time, finishing with 01:13:42.

• 🥈 Happydaze followed closely with 01:17:17, securing 2nd.

• 🥉 Archer claimed 3rd place with a corrected time of 01:19:08.

• Maximoose wasn't far behind, coming in 4th after an impressive final leg.

  
  

It’s been fantastic to see such regular participation in this year’s series, and we’d encourage any local boat owners to come down and give it a go. Whether you’re retired or just “borrowing the afternoon,” there’s always room for more on the start line.
