RTI Week 2 – Solo Sail for MerryJack

Conditions: Overcast with occasional light rain, moderate breeze

Round the Islands Week 2 saw just one entry, with MerryJack taking to the water while others stayed ashore. Sailing solo in the fleet, she completed the course in an elapsed time of 2 hours, 9 minutes, and 13 seconds, with a corrected time of 2:19:15.

While it was a quiet race in terms of numbers, it was still a solid performance and a reminder that even a single boat can keep the racing spirit alive. Hats off to the MerryJack crew for showing up and getting the job done.

Let’s aim for a bigger turnout for Week 3. The more boats we have, the more fun and competitive it becomes!
